I just returned from a two week trip to New England for leaf peeping, we had a great time covering 1500 miles in a rental pig called a Nissan Armada. Big enough for two couples and all our luggage but a pig nonetheless.
Many roads we drove, especially in NH and VT were wonderful sports car roads, so I was longing for my 718. The Armada drove OK enough, smooth ride and decent in the corners if not pushed much, but it's mass just couldn't be overcome. Back home and the first rain we've had in a month has hit, so I've yet to get the Cayman out. I've been molified by driving my Cayenne, which handles like a sports car in comparison to the Nissan. Tomorrow is supposed to be dry and cool, so I'll get on the road and feed my addiction.
