Hi folks - looking for some 3 pcs wheels for a widebody track 944. probably going to have to rehoop them so any starting point is good! 17 or 18 will work.
thanks

FWIW, if you go 18" RH Alurad 3.8 Turbo replica's, early versions have a different number of wheel fasteners vs later. I was just going to buy new barrels for the ones I bought years ago and found out the design changed and I could no longer get RH specific halves. My assumption has been that I should use RH supplied pieces to ensure proper fit and sealing, but that could be a false assumption. You would likely have more background on that and if you know that 3 pc wheel rims are somewhat generic, I'd appreciate your feedback and experiences. Maybe you know someone who makes whatever you need so perhaps not an issue. Mine have 38 bolts and was told by supplier (at the time) that they went to 40 bolts. They are also HEAVY!

Yes, I have a set of RH 3.6 turbo speedline style wheels. THey are also 38 bolt, newer ones are 40. You can still get new parts I believe for the 38 hole from GMP.

I bought replacement barrels for mine from this place.

wheelflip.com will make just about any thing you might want. They have many different style barrels and will drill them to spec (they can make hoops for my old Australian Simmons wheels when nobody else would - including Simmons!)

What are the spec on the on the speedlines?

I have a new set of 18" Classic CCW 3 piece wheels, black powdercoated center, polished outer. 18x11.5, 18x12.5 (may be off by 0.5", can't remember that far back).
Built specifically for 951 widebody, late offset.
Tires installed (305 & 335), used for fitment. Been on the shelf for years.

Not cheap!

You know the saying "If you ask the price, then probably you cannot afford it!" :)
