Ordered a new, 911 GTS Cabriolet in Shark Blue today…
I feel like a twelve year old at Christmas!

Awesome! Congratulations, great spec too! Still remember the day I got my first brand new Porsche -- Thanksgiving weekend 2017. Remember it like yesterday.

I just read about the new 2023 Porsche 911 GTS in Excellence (Nov., 2022). It was a Cabriolet but the same car.
That is a great car.

Construction of my 2023 cabriolet was just completed and now it's is on its way to port to be shipped here to the US.
Originally I had specified gentian blue but at the last moment I changed to shark blue and blue top.
Scheduled to be at the dealer on November 4.

Shark blue (nice color)? They never go to waste but I was doing gentian bezels for you? Did I miss a memo? Shark is actually way easier to paint, but touch base when you can and let me know what I should be doing (if anything) for your bezels...

I will take either gentian blue or Shark blue
I think either will be a great complement to the Shark Blue - if Shark is easier by all means go that route
I haven’t been posting much since we are in the 5th week of our 6 week European tour
My dealer texted me Thursday to let me know the car had been manufactured and was on its way to port for shipping - I had literally forgotten about it since we have a full travel itinerary
We are in Sorrento Italy at the moment

Wow, epic vacation!! Hope you are having a great time and seeing some nice Italian cars in their natural environment (Ferraris and such, rather than Fiat 500's and Vespas, I mean...
). If your car is Shark, then I'd definitely suggest the Shark bezels. It's one of my favorite colors for these things...

Shark blue bezels - full complement it is !!!
Yes we are having a fantastic time and it helps that the dollar is so strong
We have probably saved around 20% on this trip compared with what we would have paid last year !!!
How come my new Porsche isn’t 20% less

My expected delivery date has been pushed back to December 23rd (ho ho ho!) from December 9. the car is in Emden awaiting transport so I am guessing ship troubles……oh well!
