Went to Sonoma Raceway with PCA Golden Gate Region. Did two days of a three day event. If you have been avoiding Sonoma for the walls like I have, you might consider going. It's a really fun course.

Great video as always. Watched the best lap on the big screen
Is the PDK just so smart that there's no point in trying to shift it yourself on the track? Any sound limits to worry about?

Tom, thanks for watching! The PDK was good for about 98% of the time. Occasionally it did downshift on a turn exit which could be dangerous. However, it reads throttle input so maybe I wasn’t managing that well and it thought it was a good time to downshift? That only happened I think when I was taking it easy on the first couple sessions. Like grandma easy.
There were a couple turns where the rise in elevation made me want a bit more torque so I would slap the downshift paddle to force it (or try only for it to say NO)
I didn’t know there was a sound limit but a 992 GT3 did get black flagged for sound apparently.

Great job on the video, that was fun to watch, and thanks for sharing!
I saw an instructor once put a line of painters tape across the windshield and tell his student to only look above it while driving the track!
