Weird Homelink thing today

I pushed the diamond key on my steering wheel today, which normally brings up the Homelink screen showing my left and right garage door openers. Today, instead, the PCM showed a screen saying I have no Homelink profiles set up. So, I pushed the little X in the corner to clear that message, and under it was the screen I normally see with my left and right garage door -- both of which worked just fine. Anyone else have this happen?
p.s., as car makers transitions to EV's and all-digital everything, I worry cars are going to become like Windows, where software glitches and regular patches become the norm....

@Tom I haven't had happen to me, but I've been getting a glitch where the PCM goes blank for a few seconds and then back on again.
