Each year Pepperdine University erects 2,977 flags on the grassy knoll in front of the campus to honor the lives lost on 9/11. There is a flag for each individual, including flags from several other countries whose citizens died on that day.
Honestly, photos don't capture the huge scale of this, but i drive over every year and take a few pics anyway.

Every morning as I drive up to work at Porsche Des Moines I see this wonderful view of this beautiful Porsche highlighted by the red lighting that surrounds the Dealership. Schonesland PCA member, Bob Eddy, offered his beautiful " Slantnose " as rolling artwork to further dress up the stunning showroom for the " Grand Opening. I love seeing this view to start my day and once I find my digital camera I will try to get a long shot that is clear , since my phone does not focus well at it's max range and I need to be that far away to get the best shot. I have to shoot over a pond and since I can not walk on water I can't get the close picture I really want, ha.

PS - The Grand Opening was over a month ago in September and we have not bothered Bob one bit to come up and pick up his stunning 911. I imagine no one would complain if it is still gracing the showroom through the Winter, ha,ha.
