Thanks Tom!
I have seen that video before - but a good reminder to re-watch!
I did the oil cooler seals 2 years ago, might just do them again. Except for the thermostat cap seal.
I am trying to get it off as I have an unused seal ring, but it just isn't moving.
Couple of other questions
Any recommended oil sandwich plate so I can move my oil temp sensor away from the current oil plug location?
Any good references in how to convert the OEM oil lines to AN12? Have to do one for sure.
Thanks!
Mike
Oil Pan Gasket - While I'm in there...
Did manage to get the oil thermostat cap off. A few consecutive days of Kroil, heat, tried a couple of different leverage angles and it popped. Decided to change the oil cooler plate gasket & seals now that I got that sorted out.
My open questions:
(1) Any recommended oil sandwich plate so I can move my oil temp sensor away from the current oil plug location?
(2) Any good references in how to convert the OEM oil lines to AN12? Have to do one for sure.
(3) I've seen some suggest installing the cross beam and motor mounts before installing the engine. My cross member still has the rack and tie rods on it. Anyone recommend that method or should I just wait until the engine in lifted in position and slid onto torque tube?

I'm not much help on any of your questions unfortunately. I haven't seen a sandwich plate for the 944 in a long time -- are they still out there?

I use RC Fuel Injection in Torrance CA. Just put the injectors in an envelope and send. They will turn them quickly and do a great job. They will also provide a report on the flows after cleaning.

Price was good and turnaround was fast. Haven’t installed them yet.
