@JodehFoster Thank you and feel free to DM me if there are any questions when you get yours. I am sure other who have had these, have info as well.
The wait for sure is a killer, especially when you want the experience the stroopwafel before the cold weather sets in! Can't wait to see your installed!

I'm channeling my inner 908/910/917/Carrera GT with my standard weight knob from Sportshifters.

I DID! ...but haven't eaten it yet. Who does that...?

I worked up the nerve to install the GT4 shifter/knob about a month ago, easy peasy. The shifter/knob feels great. I'm really enjoying it!

Wow! That looks great! I share a similar reticence for doing things to my car—that I might screw something up.
I’m definitely having the stroopwaffle with coffee when my shifter arrives.

And your belts are cool— I have never seen Burberry seatbelts before.

Thanks! I don’t mind unscrewing things, but clips are unnerving… there’s plenty of them to practice on in this thing
I uninstalled/installed the belts a few years ago, those panels weren't too bad, but I just know anything around the console will be glaring at me if I break it.

I highly recommend the GT4 shifter swap if you don't already have it planned. Amazingly, it's one of the more "least expensive" parts Porsche sells.

Thanks for the seatbelt compliment, I found the pattern at myairbags.com, while looking at different colors. Of course, I had to accessorize. This is a good angle to see how high the OE shifter is.

Enjoy the stroopwafels! It came with two...they're small ;)

Well, I’m dipping my toes in the process by swapping the shifter knob for a medium-weight Sportshifter, which is currently in production. It will reportedly allow me to reduce the shifter height by nearly an inch, and that alone may be satisfactory. However, at around $400, the GT4 shifter is not very expensive.

The Sportshifter is worth every week of the wait, not only is the shift nicer but the quality of the workmanship is absolutely outstanding!! And Roy is the nicest person you would ever want to deal with other than our Forum owner (Tom). I think they might be long lost brothers! :)
