dear Tom, dear community, it's just super awesome to see the creativiy and the hulp of people like you.
basically i thought there was no solution before seeing your video except buying a new (or second hand) climate controler.
i would be super happy if you could share the stl files and if you could tell me which type of plastic to be used to make the knob. the second step in finding someone to print it should be less of a problem. many thanks for your help Tom!

Thanks for the kind words, and welcome to Carpokes! The STL is available for free download in the first post of this thread. I recommend ABS for this. PLA is not a good choice because it does not hold up well to the interior heat on a summer day.

Many local libraries are starting to offer 3D-printers for community use, so you might want to check that option.
