This is Arya we lost her to pancreatitis in July last year.
She had to know where everyone was and liked being in the car when I was puttering in the garage.

Pancreatitus is a bear to deal with and I'm sorry you lost Arya but glad you have Hazel! It certainly helps. I cannot be without at least one dog - they're a lifeline as far as I'm concerned. If all dogs are gone, then I'm gone too!

So, Red Deer, Alberta! I'm a long way from Red Deer but I am a big hockey fan and was at the Preds game tonight. What's the connection? Well, one of our goalies from the past who had a good NHL career is Chris Mason - from Red Deer! He is now the TV color analyst for the team and I've often heard him discuss family and friends from back home. Pictures too - with plenty of snow and winter! I do believe that Chris loves Red Deer!
