Sorry, that was from (shady) memory. Just been checking logs and 70% DC actually gives peak boost levels of ~1.85 bar.
The MVS may be way too small to allow for proper boost control at higher boost levels on this engine but I cannot see any boost creep on any of the logged data recorded so far.

Are there benefits with going to a bigger 48mm WG for our cars?

I’m currently using a 38mm.

Yes but it depends on engine configuration. On my original 2.5 8V engine the F38 worked great, as on the 3L 8V but I never ran more than 1.2 bar (18 psi) of boost on either. The 16V engine throws these observations out of the window, and I have not heard of many folks consistently/deliberately running more than 1.6 bar (23 psi) of boost on a 16V engine.
