Christian Horner fired from Red Bull effective immediately . Replaced by Mekies from Racing Bulls . I wonder if Horner will replace Vasseur at Ferrari . My guess is Max will be in a Mercedes next year .

I just read this. It will be interesting so see what the permutations will be. Corporate infighting never bodes well.

Max in a Mercedes next year, hmmm? Could be interesting, but I would hate to see Kimi displaced as he has the makings of the next " Star " driver, imho. Of course there are numerous cars with a Mercedes engines, so are you leaving the door open for numerous teams to grab Mr. Verstappen?

I didn't see that coming.
Regarding Verstappen, didn't he also mention at some point that he wants to race in other series such as WEC, IMSA, etc?

My opinion sitting on my couch, to me this seems to be Jos wanting total control of his son’s career. Generally, things like that don’t end well. But time will tell.
I also wonder if this is unloading salaries in preparation for the sale of the team. Maybe the new Red Bull management don’t appreciate or like F1.

Some of the "news" on this are saying that the Red Bull corporate offices in Austria will now have more direct control of the team. Yesterday, one of these said that Red Bull corporate is already looking to reduce headcount.
like the old joke, "I'm from corporate, I'm here to help".
