I agree it seems a bit far-fetched, and as you say, wording can make or break a contract (there are a ton of lawyers who make a handsome living from debating contract law) and while I'm crossing my fingers it will come to pass, there well may be some sales people hiding their crossed fingers behind their backs as they tell us customers "you're covered."

My region president usually knows of what he speaks, but we'll have to wait and see if it is truth. I still have over 4 1/2 years left on my factory warranty, and will do nothing to jeopardize it, but it is very temptingto add a quick 26 hp to my GTS. .

 That kind of power in a 718 is mighty tempting, warranty questions aside...

That's why I keep coming back to this. Yes, the GTS as is has plenty of power, sometimes it's scary fast, but still....

Trust me, I know. I traded in a 580hp car to get a 640hp car because, you know, the 580hp wasn't enough apparently...

440hp in a 3000lbs car is nothing to shake a stick at.

A 718 GTS with 440hp would have virtually the same horsepower and weight as a 959, but with modern Porsche chassis dynamics, so yeah....

Well in that case sign me up. "There's no replacement for displacement. " Or something like that.
