My son is out of town for the week but I was able to get a lot of work done on it over the weekend. The front end is mostly assembled. I am still missing the right marker light and a few other odds and ends. I am waiting on all my gaskets from sunset Porsche and then I can really finish her up. Here are a few photos. The wheels are next and I know they look horrible.

We have been steadily working on her. The glass is back in the rear, hatch installed, door seals, mirrors, handles, rear bumper shock, new rear speakers, sunroof trim glued and installed. It’s almost back to a full fledged car again. Can’t wait to get the wheels painted and finish the exterior up.

Had some time to start final assembly of the car. We were able to polish the lips on the wheels and paint the centers, install the charcoal canister, install the power antenna and generally wrap things up on the outside. The exterior items that are left are to install the rear Porsche decal, chip guards and side moldings (if we decide to retain them).

Looks fantastic. I love the look of a white 944 with black/silver Fuchs! I like it so much, I changed the 944 forum icon to your car!

Thank you so much Tom, that’s quite a compliment!!! White normally isn’t a color I would have chosen, but it really suits the 944.

Amazing job on this project! I especially like the justification in play to get another 944. It's really a teaching tool dear... for the kids benefit
It also has me remembering the grade school science fairs. You know, where an exhibit is exceptional such that the other parents start questioning how much the student was involved.
Anyway, keep up the great work! I expect each child may want one now. Just sayin'

Too funny, that never crossed my mind at all!!!! It was always all for the kids.
I appreciate the kind words and so far it’s been a fun project.

Small update, finished installing the badge on the back, side moldings, and overall the exterior cosmetics are done.
Spent a lot of time cleaning up the interior, it still needs the dash recovered and the seats redone but it’s starting to look like a decent place to sit.
