Hey!! I've hijacked my own thread! I need to post a track photo ASAP before the thread self-destructs.

Heavily camouflaged Porsche from many years ago at Road America.

.........getting a Porsche was not a move that was drastic, you just needed to replace some plastic.

RdMcG and Jodehfoster , great shots of your machines on track and I was wondering Mr. Foster if your bronze wheels were the fairly new Bronze Apex ones? They look great and I am considering going with that color on my Chalk Cayman GTS.
"It's Jodeh, Ms. Foster if you're nasty"...that's a Janet Jackson quote btw
They are the bronze Apex VS-5RS, twenty-inchers. They would look rad on the Chalk GTS.
I recently had a brief moment of insanity and considered refinishing my Carrera S wheels in (German-flag) yellow for dedicated track tires, while I keep the forged for my street tires...WHO DOES THIS.
I also considered selling them to subsidize another set of Apex for track tires, but I'd have a hard time letting my stockers go. Porscheworld problems.

Heh, heh, thanks Jodeh!! They look killer on your speedy little Croc and I am really considering them strongly, though I will likely go the tiny route and run 18s as that seems to be the hot set-up for autocrossers. I plan to mainly run Time Trials , but an occasional autocross is pushing me towards the 18s. Thanks for taking the time to respond and I bet you get plenty of comments on your wheels since they are stunning on that color Cayman.

Thank you very much!
I originally had the anthracite spec'd for the group buy, but once they announced the bronze availability, I quickly changed my allocation. It really gave the Agate a bit of character, rather than just a boring color choice that blends into traffic.
I'm planning on a few more DEs in 2024, mostly want to try out different tracks.
...but I do want to try my hand at autocross next year as well.

Re the Cone Killer graphic - isn't that the objective? That's my take anyway and I'm sticking to it! Whack-a-Mole on pavement.
