Hey y'all, this is Rob checking in. Been working on 944s for well over 15 years now as we as other european cars here in GA. Thought I'd say hi again in case I missed it, but also wanted to share my car with ya here:
Not sure how far to go with the swap talk here, so I'll leave that be for another time, but I do have a project that might interest some. I've got a 944 that I will be documenting installing a rusEFI uaEFI as seen here:
These are very capable ecus at great budget with built in drive by wire and wideband capabilities. The install will utilize a S2 flywheel for the crank trigger (until I work with rusEFI on adding the double trigger stock configuration), and added CAM sensor. The plan is to 3D print as much as I need for this swap (CAM sensor housing and cap and well as TPS sensor conversion piece over to a BMW TPS as well as a MAF tube that bolts into the factory location and uses a blade style MAF). I'll throw up any stl and document as much as I can here and on youtube, maybe. Either way, just wanted to say hi!
Hi Robstah, always nice to have another RL refugee! (I was Tom M'Guinn there.). Welcome aboard! Your project deserves a thread here for sure, and please do post STLs along the way!

Location: Springfield, MO, PCA member of Ozarks region
Occupation: Commodity trader, power/natural gas
Current fun car: 1985 3.2 Carrera cabriolet, Guard's Red

Welcome aboard Curt! My first 911 was an '85. I really wanted Guards Red, but came across a Prussian Blue one that was too nice to pass up. Loved that car -- never should have sold it!

@Josephinpa
Welcome to CARPOKES. The Boxster should be great on the roads around Yardley!
My sister lived there for a while in an old canal keepers cottage, quite quaint, but that was loooooong ago.
I hope you are enjoying the roads in eastern PA!
Glad you found us and thanks for joining!

Hi!
I’m Paul Carpenito from Long Island, New York.
Ever since Tom Cruise drove Rebecca De Mornay around in that 928 in Risky Business, I wanted one.
All I wanted was black 5-speed. Well..in 2002, a black 1991 928GT fell into my lap and it’s been in my garage ever since.
Cheers, all.
