Welcome to Carpokes from another Cayman GTS owner. Have you had a chance to rip around Utah Motorsports Campus in your GTS? Just wondering as that is one of my favorite tracks.

I haven't in my Cayman; it is really my canyon carver. Hoping to get a Miata for the track in the next couple of years.

I raced in Spec Miata for about 10 years so I can't argue that idea of yours. You still might consider a PCA DE event as they are a fun and safe way to exercise your Porsche - likely safer than driving on a California freeway, ha!

Figured I would say hello as well.
I am Ray in New Orleans.
Have a 2016 Cayenne as a mostly daily driver. Just got it a few months ago.
Shares duty with a Ram 1500.
But I also have a 1977 911. She is 100% original and stock. I am a little more careful with her. Maybe once a week on the road.
And I am working on - was a basket case - 1961 356B. This is a long term project and will take maybe another year. Very rough to start with. At the 50% mark now. Just plugging away. I can't wait for this one.
I also have a 1983 944 project car. Not sure if I have the time or space to keep that one. We'll see.

That's it for me.
One of the things I am desperately looking for is parts for the 356 project. So if you know of any parts, pass it on (seats, maybe a steering wheel).
Thanks.

Welcome aboard Ray! If you create a separate post in the air-cooled area requesting specific 356 parts, I'll feature it in an upcoming newletter to get thousands of eyes on it all at once. :) Be sure to include a picture I can use... :)

Nice cross section of era's and philosophies in your grouping, as well as level of completion. One great aspect of that is if you get frustrated working on what is in front of you, you have other family members to drive and help remind you why you are doing your current project...
Thanks for joining!

Hello to Everyone,

My name is Jorge, home is Miami, FL.

I recently acquired a 1987 944 Turbo, marking my first experience with a Turbo car, which presents a significant learning curve. I also own a 2002 996 4S, and my daily driver is a Chevy Colorado Diesel.

I have a good history wrenching with cars, mostly old Camaros and Corvettes. A few years ago I found myself attracted to a 996 4S, and here we are.

Looking forward to interacting with all of you.

Jorge.
