You can then move into the GTS if all works out. (Who knows, you may decide the one you have now is the one you prefer. That would not be unusual.) In either case, it's a win-win. Maybe even a triple win, considering this is the swan song for ICE Caymans. Best to have one in the hand as they say!

Congrats Kris and welcome to Carpokes!!

Talking to the dealership, I'm astonished. They are telling me it will be at the same price we had when I placed the order in May, so no MSRP bump, tariff or other drama.

However, their trade-in offer on the base model 718 Cayman I have is underwhelming.

I think trying to find a private party buyer would be the best in terms of getting as much of our initial investment out as possible, but that goes with a lot of hassle and some risk.

Do folk have recommendations from personal experience with companies like webuyexotics.com or auction sites like carsandbids.com, pcarmarket.com, or bringatrailer.com?

Are there other options to consider?

I did throw together my own listing, but I don't know how to market it or get many eyeballs on it:

Good day. New member today.
First time Porsche owner - 2014 Porsche Cayman. Purchased in May this year. 31K miles. I'll post a picture next time I'm here.
Retired, working part-time at a hospital in the Houston area.
I've always been interested in Porsche's, life got in the way. Knowing that we can't take it with us, decided no time like the present. I am always interested to learn new stuff, and hope to do so here.

Hey all, greetings from NYC. New here but a long-time Porsche nut. It all started with a little Matchbox 911, and the obsession never really stopped. I even worked as design director on Porsche’s North American events for a bit—helped with the 50th anniversary of the 911 and the 918 Spyder launch. Finally scratched the itch a couple years back and picked up a silver ’76 survivor, which feels a lot like that first Matchbox car come full circle.
