My name is Keith McMahan.
I live in northern California (near Auburn)
My first Porsche was a 1959 356A. (bought at a local VW/Porsche dealer in New Jersey).
I have had several model Porches since then (4 were delivered at the factory in Stuttgart).
I joined PCA in 1959. I have belonged to 9 different PCA chapters since that time.
I was one of the founding members of Loma Prieta Chapter in 1970, but I am not sure that chapter still exists.
I no longer own a Porsche (to difficult for me to get in and out of drivers seat), but I still drive German cars
(BMW - Audi - SMART)
I thought I would join this group and see is I see any name I recognize.

@Keith McMahan
A second welcome Keith. What a Porsche & PCA history - amazing!
You piqued my curiosity, so I looked it up and found that the Loma Prieta region does indeed still exist. Link below.

Hi. I'm the new new guy here. I'm the proud owner of a 992.2 C2S -- my first Porsche. And I'm loving it.

Awesome and thanks for the kind words no the site! Welcome aboard! Would love to see a build thread on the '82. The 924 might be the last great underappreciated Porsche!Puckchuk wrote: Sat Aug 23, 2025 9:54 am Hi all!

Good morning!
Not much of a new member, but newly active for sure.
I'm Bas Henneman, 36 from the Netherlands. I have been in the 944 for a long time (got my 944 on my 21st birthday).
Some will remember me as Dutch944 from Rennlist.
I had a very nice 944N/A with a S2 Turbo engine in it, making 643hp / 761nm... But it burned down a view days after the final dyno session due to a failed electric power steering pump..
Shortly after that I purchased a 968 Turbo, which was already built by the PO. As loads of my 944 was salvageble, I used a lot of the parts to continue on the 968 but also start a lot of progress on modern stuff.
A new intake with Sebastian Mahler from CF and a company building wiring harnesses for the 944/968 base as well as other racecars shortly came and now I'm ballsdeep into the carstuff.
My company, TripleSky Engineering https://www.triplesky.nl is now moving forward far to quick for me to catch up and also keep my dayjob!
I'll be trying to share my knowledge here where I can and maybe even start a build post!
