Thanks for reminding me.. need to get one of these adapters.. though not sure how you are using the schrader valve? Wouldn't M12 to 1/4 NPT be easier to adapt to regular pressure gauges?

Many cars have schrader valve on thier fuel rails for checking fuel pressure. The gauge kit I have screws onto a schrader valve. So when I need to check fuel pressure I install those adapters and then use my gauge kit. When I am done I remove those fittings and re-install the cap.

You could definitely use that fitting to install a gauge on the rail. I am just using them to check pressure when needed.

Wanted to let everyone know that the car starts and idles well. I did check the DME temp sensor and it was in range 3k ohms at 70 deg F. When I removed the intercooler hard lines and air filter housing/MAF, started to remove the J boot (to check vacuum lines) and found that I had not tightened a small clamp. The j boot seemed to have been on the turbo inlet properly (my primary concern). I had a small fan that I used to blow air through the intercooler until I no longer smelled fuel. I put everything back together and it started fairly quickly. As @Tom had stated( in the thread with @CarBot), I was concerned about the FPR, so I swapped it with a known good spare 3 bar FPR. So I think the leading causes of my no start was incorrect vacuum line routing, poor condition/cracked vacuum line rubber Y connectors and loose hose clamp on one of the small hoses on the J boot. Thank you for your help.

Congrats! Nice when the fix is quick

Too bad Laust Pederson isn't making his vacuum manifolds anymore

Unless you are using a performance DME chip that is written to use a 3.0bar FPR, the stock unit is 2.5 bar.
