I ended up getting a bit creative with my temp switch due to how low my manifold sits, hopefully it can handle the heat , but im thinking it should be ok mounted in the water jacket part of the core. Obviously this is very turbo dependent.

I'm turned around a bit on that picture. What was that port for? Do you still have coolant flow through the turbo?

I'm turned around a bit on that picture. What was that port for? Do you still have coolant flow through the turbo?
My turbo had 4 ports, the inlet from the pump is below the switch, the other outlet is plugged

The core is watercooled Holset HX35, the rest is a bit of a mishmash, the vendor was a bit contentious on rennlist/here , so I'm not going to go into too much more detail. May yet end up with a Garrett if it doesn't deliver
