Keep the updates coming! I had the bushes made for the COP’s already by now, I have a drawing for it.

Good to hear, sorry I've been so flat out I haven't been back to the workshop to even look at the motor let alone get you some measurements.

Harness is finished apart from a wayward DTM plug for the oil pressure sensor. Just a few tweaks to the PDM and interior harnesses and it's time to setup the Link.

Finally got some time to work on the motor, the head is now on and torqued down. We're just waiting on the last of the turbo heat shields and the rear support bracket to arrive from the US. Once that's here we can finally bolt up the turbo correctly and mod the crossover flanges and weld in the EGT and EMAP ports. Then a big pile of parts go off for zinc and ceramic coating.

Nice work Luke! Are you keeping the camgear open like this or reinstalling the cover?

No covers will go on later, I have to swap the oil pump, I got a sent a turbo one and it doesn't have clearance for the 16V tensioner

Ive had some time off work between jobs so lots has been happening, but have been too busy to post updates.
Interior wiring is finally complete and all bolted in, its packed in tight so Im a bit worried about heat but Ill have to see how that goes when its running.

Dash is almost back in after the A/C repairs, replacement Carpokes HVAC control cover is installed but I dropped my A/C switch which exploded into 1000 pieces, so Ill have to source one of those.

Upgraded fuel pump wiring was finished today after my DTP connector and crimpers arrived, I thought I was going to get away with DT but the Bosch '200' fuel pump should draw around 15A. The original wiring is left in place and sealed up if I ever need to go back to stock.

In the process of modifying the intake manifold braces and turbo coolant pipe to solve some clearance issues with the Hayward manifold. I will most likely be deleting the switch and setting up some logic in the ECU to run the pump based engine temp and runtime.

Crossover mods to mate up to the S2 headers are underway.

Feel free to share this with anyone who thinks a 16V turbo build is as easy as bolting up Turbo parts, my next problem is the A/C line in the S2 runs runs along the chassis rail, Im 99% sure this is going to clash with the crossover, and living in Australia there is very little chance of me deleting it.
