Build got pushed back until mid-December. It was a November 30 start previously, which was a bit ahead of the initial estimate.

Got an email from my salesguy this past Friday that the European Delivery dates are full for February and March so that a current work in progress to get fixed somehow.
We had to change to PECLA delivery. Car finished production this past Monday and I got the email today that it made it to the german port to get loaded on a ship.

Should pick up in Los Angeles and drive it home sometime in March.

Gorgeous, blue is a favorite color of mine and I am always envious of those who got build pics, since I did not receive any with my 24 Cayman. My Christmas wish for you is for near torrential rains in Panama to help refill the lake to normal levels, enabling the Canal to operate at capacity. That could speed things up and you might see the car in February - great Valentine's Day present, ha.

Build pics are indeed nice! (Wish Porsche would do them for all individually ordered builds.)

We have a confirmed pick up date for mid March in LA. Now to get everything else in order - financing, insurance, etc.

Welp, PEC delivery had to be canceled.

My T is one of the many that are stuck in the port due to an import problem with a component part inside one of the ECU.

No solid date on delivery at this time.

In the same situation as you are with our incoming Cayenne. The good news is that dealers were notified earlier this week that replacement components have been arriving and vehicles are beginning to trickle out of quarantine. Also, there has been talk of releasing at least some vehicles to Porsche Centers to have the work done there rather than at the ports. (I don't know how accurate that is.)

Maybe you've already seen this but here is part of what I received from Porsche a few days ago:

"At issue is an electronic component which is a part of a larger control unit that needs to be replaced. In the past week you may have seen headlines in the press related to this topic. Some of the information is accurate and some is not. For example, vehicles were not “impounded,” “blocked,” or “detained” as reported by some media. Rather, we promptly took action to hold affected vehicles at port and notified authorities as soon as we learned of an issue affecting one of our suppliers."

Car arrived at the dealer this past Friday night. Surprised the staff, they had no warning until the truck was unloading. "Whose car is this?" type of situation, LOL.

Going to pick it up in a week or so based on schedules.
