I have a new house we just built and was contemplating epoxy floors but man those tiles of yours look amazing.
Would love more info on what you used and any tips you may have.

Thanks and welcome aboard!! The tile in my garage is from Saint 'Agostino Ceramica, made in Italy. The key for a garage is to get PEI 5 porcelain (look for 5 in the abrasion resistance rating), and an anti- slip rating above .5 (above .6 is better, especially if it's going to get wet). With a lot of mfg's, you really need to track down the specs, as many like to advertise in less technical (easier to sound good) terms.... But if something is truly made to PEI 5 standards with a good anti-slip surface, it is not by accident and the mfg will be able to confirm. If they can't, chances are it has a lower rating (or would, if rated). PEI 5 with good slip resistance is hard to find. We could not find the squares for the checker pattern, for example, and ended up cutting our own squares out of bigger pieces.

Since we're in California, we also put a lot of effort into getting the 'control joints' right and conforming to the warranty requirements, both with the tiles and with the concrete underneath. And we put down a membrane over the concrete and under the tiles to help prevent cracks in general and during earthquakes.... (I say 'we' but the contractor and his subs did everything -- I know less than nothing about all this, other than from my experience paying the bills )

Nothing transforms a garage faster or more thoroughly than Racedeck. You'll love it. Are you doing a pattern?

p.s. If you use a table saw to cut them, STAND OFF TO THE SIDE when you cut them. Trust me!

Yes, doing a pattern. It's nice to have the autocad drawings of the house so I can lay it out.
I'm doing one large rectangle as if I did 3 rectangles the center one wouldn't have lined up exactly with the center garage bay and that would have driven me mad. I like when things line up.
Using black and alloy colors for the checker pattern.
I think it should look good when it's finished.

Alloy is smart. I used white and they show the dirt all too easily. Should look awesome. Before and after pics are a must!

Part way done. 2 out of the 3 bays almost finished. Paused a bit now because the Taycan arrived and I'm playing with that.
Have to repaint the garage now that all the construction is finally finished but at least I have a floor now.

@murphsea - Looking Good! Now get back to work and finish it.

Looks great - definitely a touch of class !!!
