Also - I used and AN wrench with the an vice adapter to assemble the hoses

Did you have problems getting the fittings to seal (hence the use of the Seco seals) or as a preventative measure? On the wrenches and vise clamp, did they give better performance over regular tools or primarily keep from scratching up the anodize on the fittings? I have used steel AN style fittings on high pressure ( 1,000 - 3,000 psi) hydraulic systems and never had problems with leaking at the face seal.

Yes - I had some me air bubbles when testing the connections in a water bucket, so Pegasus recommended the Seco seals
Yes - the AN wrench and vice adapter provided a better grip
