But yeah, their lives are too short. I've had female Rotties continuously for 43+ years, always at least two so that I'm never without one. Sadly, they too have such short lives. My oldest, Trina is now 9½. Gonna be another hard loss but the times with them are irreplaceable so all is good.

My family had 3 rotties when I was growing up. Just lost my 12 yo BC-x to cancer a week ago today. It's still a bit raw, she was a very good girl.

Here she is when we got her a brother when she was 2; on guard duty; and on her last day, resting after a paddle at her favourite spot.
She looked at peace at the end. Is the younger dog in the 944? I did not realize until today that they were 2+2s

Yes, that's them in the 944. The mini schnauzer is 10 now.

The whole 924-944-968 line up are 2+2's with the exception of the 944 Turbo Cups that I think were all rear seat deletes and the 968 Clubsport which had optional rear seat delete. In the photo where the mini is peeking through the front seats i have a 968CS shelf fitted which replaces the 968 seat backs.

I spent my early teenage years seated in the back of 924 and 944's but it's not fun for adults.

I can't imagine not having at least 1 dog. They are great friends. My newfy loved the track so much, when I raced the Indycar, he was the team 'owner' (Scuderia Paw). My latest bud is definitely a smaller package.
