Added Clear side-Marker Lights and Short-shifter. the Short-shifter changes the car dramatically.

In Texas, there already are cars with these plates:

I prefer something less literal, a little more entertaining. My plates came in this morning, so these are on my 718s now.

Now, I guess I need a white jumpsuit and a blue face shield!

Love the personalized PCA plate - we’re trying to get one here in SC.

I added 2MM more front lower control arm shims and adjustable toe arms to the rear and then slightly adjusted the rear eccentric for a touch more rear camber. Adjusted each corner for toe in while on Jack stands. After it was on the ground and settled I measured the toe to be 3mm out up front and 7mm in at the rear. I was wanting 2mm and 5mm but will drive it like this for a bit and see how it feels. Still considering GT3 style rear lower control arms as my rear eccentrics are nearly maxed out.

Edit: When I installed the front lower control arms I initially planned to put 12mm of shim but read that is the limit where we need extend tie rod ends. I un-threaded one of my tie rods and measured, I still had 25mm of thread in the tierod. All good, no need to be so conservative.

Well not this week, last week.
With the RMR PCA group, 21 cars were joined by racer/author/RMR member Chris Lennon (he has raced 7 times and either podiumed or won most entries). We had radios and were in one group while Chris narrated the 156 turns to the top, commenting on what he does to prepare the car, crew, tactics, speed, one turn has 3 apexes, etc. What a thrill to listen to Chris for the day. Chris has rebuilt his RSR with 8 electric motors and finishing up development to run the race again soon. Ever car go a book signed by Chris, icing on the cake! We also visited the race museum at the Broadmoor Hotel before we took off.

My daughter (21) came with me as my wife used to drive to the top with her dad in his MG and with the MG club when she was growing up. My daughter was really taken by the event and to share it with her was really special.

Pikes Peak!! Outstanding and how very cool to have the radio narration by someone that experienced who was also leading the way as the group made the climb! That's a unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

I have gone to the top 4 times , the first time clear back in the 50s, but it is really great now that it is all paved. I remember how my wife and I stopped three times coming down in our 1980 Honda Accord ( in 1980 ) as the brakes were getting too hot. Seven years back we came down in our Jeep Cherokee Limited and never stopped once, brakes have definitely improved alot over the years. Fun trip and thanks for posting as that had to be a really great experience.

Inspired by artist Nika Zupanc's work in Christophorus magazine, and the blankets of wildflowers along Texas's highways.

The installers weren't feeling it; the lady in the parking lot was! I'm happy, and hope it holds up. It was a difficult job.
