There are track days at two really good tracks this coming weekend, trying to figure out which track day I will attend.

Ordered another set of Ferodo 3.12s today from https://apexperformance.net/. They offer a 10% on their site, if you call them on some items they can offer a 15% discount, including the 3.12 pads.

I've dealt with Clark and Linda at Apex - really good folks and yes, if you call it's 15% discount. I haven't used them more because of a very long association with Discovery but may shift back to Apex somewhat again.

Been at three diff tracks the past couple of weeks and so far the heat issues in the rear are a non issue and appear to be solved. Time will tell - fingers crossed.

I started this season on a new set of my lovely and preferred AP Racing J-hooks plus burnished Ferodo DS3.12 pad setups. Wanna stop? No prob!

Clark and Linda be good ole folks and I gots a smokin deal from them. Gotta support those small shops that help us crazies who assault asphalt and both of them are past road warriors who caught the racing bug and still love it by supporting plenty of low level flying Porsche Pilots.

Glad to hear the heat shields are working well. I talked to Soul about mine and they told me about what they did for yours and they would get back to me. So far I have not heard back and likely should follow up. Will as many track days as I want to attend in April and May I will likely try to get them done over summer break.

Got my Silver Rockets CF V-Frame Tailgate, 3" CF Swan Neck risers, CF Reinforcement plates back from Prestige Autobody and I was able to start putting everything back together. At the time I was still waiting for the shop to finish the Manthey Racing CLUBSPORT rear bumper. Also, my buddy helped me install the new LED Light Bar in the rear as I could not install it without doing some modifications.

Over the past few weeks I've done a few things to make the BS I bought in November more 'mine.'

Disliking the black roof, I swapped it out. The plain black seatbelts were frayed, and smelled of someone's cologne. $99 apiece at Safety Restore got new webbing to go with my Burgundy/Black interior. Installed a 'Historic Racing Switch' from Porsche, just for fun. [Sorry, the site insists on rotating this photo]

Red Roof Inn, er, is in! I agree , the silver and red combo needs that and nice move on the belts.

Did another two days at the track this past weekend, three weekends in a row is my new contiguous tracking record.

Plan to do a through brake inspection next week. I suspect my front rotors are past it and I have been sitting on replacement rotor rings for a while now. Next scheduled track day is not for a few weeks.

@ReidMcT How is that historic key? I am very intrigued. Does it look and feel natural in there, are you liking it?
