Thanks for the reply. My intent was always to use a reputable shop to do all the interior work including the seats. I was just interested to know if anyone knew where Singer got them. The engine rebuild using a Wilhoit 2.2L kit is being done on a fully restored 1969 912 Irish Green Porsche. The claimed HP from Wilhoit is 170 to 180 or more than a 911S from 1969 (160hp?). It comes with all the other necessary upgrades including a new oil cooler, electronic ignition, etc. and suspension work. While this is being done, I'd like to upgrade the interior to this Singer-type look I mentioned earlier. I'd send a photo but it appears that you can only send files.

You can send photos from your photo library

Singer uses a variety of seats but the one below is probably a good fit for your car and maybe what you were thinking?

I don't think you will find them off-the-shelf anywhere -- they seem to be either re-worked or specially commissioned Recaro's. Note the Porsche electrical switches on the side for example. If you are just looking for that 'look' I'm sure a good shop could do something extremely close/similar with early 911 seats of even some early BMW seats. Places like GTS Classic Seats can also build seats to spec I understand (for a price).

As for posting pictures -- we NEED to see your project. :) Here is a step-by-step guide on posting pictures here on Caprokes!

Thanks. I appreciate the feedback. This is the photo I have as well and the seats I want. I'll just show this to the shop and have them source what to do. The reason I asked about "how to attach the photo", is... I followed the guide but when I checked to attach the photo, it only allowed me to attach the "file" not the single "photo". I've done this before but in this example, I couldn't select "one" photo, which is not what I want. I'll try again later when I get a photo of the completed engine. Thanks

Yeah, a good upholstery shop should be able to get darn close to that. The side bolster with actual Porsche switches might be a little challenge, but doable.

If you follow the picture-posting guide and still can't get it, shoot me an email at [email protected] and I can walk you through it. As shown in the guide, you have to pick "Add Files" and then select the photo you want. You can only attach photos one at a time, using the "Add Files" button as many times as you need. There is no 'add photo' button as best I know....

Leather is nice but vinyl so much better. All you need to keep vinyl great is 303. My 73T Targa original is like new.
