I'm a little concerned about heat too (I live in Florida). I didn't have the variable light control option either, so I'm thinking of getting it tinted with some heat rejection film. People on some of the other forums seem to have divided opinion on whether film is needed or the standard thermally insulated glass on the roof does a good enough job. I figure i'll just drop the extra $300 or so and go the belts+suspenders route.
Was trying to decide between the spectra photosync or the 3M Crystalline. The Spectra Photosync seems to be technically more advanced, but hard to know if it's just snake oil.
