That's weird, didn't they say the scan detected misfires? How can the steering rack cause misfires?

And on an unrelated note -- we now apparently live in a world where steering racks can be reprogrammed.

Apparently the service manager told me the wrong thing when I first brought it in and the electric steering had to be reprogrammed

Who would have associated steering rack with engine issues
