Just a heads up on videos that they need to be linked to a hosting side such as YouTube or similar. Just copy/paste the link in your Carpokes post and you're good to go! I've attached an example from Carpokes' YouTube channel.

I visited my local dealer yesterday and showed my service advisor the videos taken by my wife. Service advisor pronounced the videos very helpful at illustrating the issue and sent one of the videos to her computer, saying she will show it to the tech who initially checked out my complaint. Tech is in training for a few days and will look at it later this week. Still working on getting a video loaded to Carpokes.Mfibiandriver wrote: Wed Nov 26, 2025 6:16 amThat's beyond my tech ability but I'll try to figure it out.blueline wrote: Mon Nov 24, 2025 7:07 am @Mfibiandriver

Glad you were able to post the video!
If I understood your original post correctly, the rev match is failing to increase the engine RPMs sufficiently to match the expected trans speed of the next gear downshift. That certainly seems like a software issue to me - I don't see what else it could be. Have you tried different driving styles - more aggressive or less so to see if any variations in the rev match function?
I did ask at the dealership and was told that is not an issue that those who I talked to had encountered with any 718s, at least not so far.
I'd be sure to request that the tech working on your car or the shop foreman - someone at the dealership who's qualified - drive the car or ride with you as a passenger so that they'll have first hand observation of what's happening.
