Ah yes, internet Keyboard Warriors.. I have used loads of these sensors and none have failed so far.

Wanted to give a big thank you @BasHenneman .

I’m at VIR running novice class. The car feels really strong with the tune tweaks Bas made. Bas also fixed my wide band controller and settings. It seems to be working very well. I’m loving the MaxxECU. I don’t have the talent in the corners yet but I’m more than keeping up in the straights.

Have to give a shotout to Evergreen Turbo, running Raptor 27/6. With my ebc working well my boost feels great. I’m running out of talent to push anymore lol have to review logs but I don’t think I’m going past 1.75 bar and I’m hitting little over 100mph on the straights. But I can feel the turbo easily has more to give.

I didn’t get time to install the sensors before the event though.

Looking forward to reviewing my logs.

You are very welcome! Send me a log some time of driving where you hit the 1.75 bar; I supposed its 175kpa which means 0.75 bar

We can get some more boost; closer to 1 bar!

One of these days I’ll get that right.

But yes, that’s what I meant. The boost was plenty for me at this stage. Maybe next time I’ll be ready for more.

You need a -6AN to 1/8 NPT adapter. That's the standard for most common fuel pressure sensors. Screw the adapter into your sensor, then plumb it into a spare port on your fuel rail or a -6AN fuel line.

I purchased the Vibrant M12 adapter fitting so that I could bolt it on to the end of the stock fuel rail and keep the fuel regulator in the stock location. Unfortunately while torquing it down to the fuel rail the threaded end snapped off (the end of the fuel rail). Don’t know if I overdid it or the rail was already weak or maybe corroded. I took it as a blessing in disguise and purchased kit from Lindsey including Fuelab regulator. Really nice piece in my opinion.

Should have installation done by this weekend including fuel pressure sensor. Looking forward to getting the car back on the road.

Yikes, sounds like you dodged a bullet there...a fiery bullet!

For what it's worth, the stock fuel rail is supposed to have a kind of spherical seal (like the ball bearing that's under the stock cap). I've heard it described as a "globe seal". The Arnnworx pressure tester I have has the perfect fitting but I don't think I've ever seen one anywhere else. I wouldn't trust anything else personally, although I am probably just paranoid.

It's hard to get a clear pic but hopefully these will show it clearly - this is what you want to get a perfect seal on the stock fuel rail:

I’ve installed the fuel and oil pressure sensors. Both Honeywell PxL 100 psi. The fuel pressure sensor is on the Fuelab regulator from the Lindsey kit, bolted to the firewall (in front of battery). Unfortunately because of fitment issues, I ended up using a sandwich plate at the oil filter housing. I did add some extra heat shields. So far seems to be working very well.

But now a question for @BasHenneman or other MaxxECU experts Looking at the software, I have “Primary Fuel Pressure” counter and the AIN 3 counter, which is what I’ve designated and using as my Fuel Pressure sensor location in the ECU. Both counters (gauges) give different readings though they do increase and decrease as I adjust the pressure regulator.

My question is, what counter do I use to set the fuel pressure to 300kpa (3 bar)? From what I’ve read, my understanding is that you set the pressure using the Primary Fuel Pressure counter/gauge. But the car doesn’t seem to be running well using that method. Though I’m sure I’m missing something.
