What is the file extension and I'll see if I can add it to the list of permissible file types...

Hey Tom - that would be awesome and I bet many would want to add their files.
The tuning file itself is .msq
The data log file is .mlg

Ok - thanks to Tom for helping get the file types set to be able to upload. I hope more will now be able to share their logs and we can help each other out.
Ok so here is what I have
1. my current tune (.msq) file
2. idle only getting up to temp
3. revving engine to about 4K but sitting still
4. Moving back and forth in driveway to get under "load"
5. A drive around the neighborhood
Looking forward to hearing everyone's comments!

Just a suggestion, but you are likely to get more traction with a dedicated thread that asks for microsquirt files in the title -- like the one asking for maxxecu files. Totally up to you, but that way I could feature it in an upcoming email blast, which may pull some microsquirters out of the woodwork...Drscottsmith wrote: Sat Jul 19, 2025 5:29 pm Ok - thanks to Tom for helping get the file types set to be able to upload. Done - thanks much!
That seems consistent with my recent rebuild. I tried the roller method and really didn't have a lot of confidence in my work, so I beaded all the 574 areas and the results have been really good so far.Drscottsmith wrote: Mon Jul 14, 2025 8:08 am Some updates -
1 - NO MORE LEAKS!!! The front oil leak I had was coming from the oil pump mating surface where the block and girdle meet. Made that more flush than it was and used a bead of Loctite 574 instead of the roller method and all is well!
I used a honing stone on the oil pump, water pump and balance shaft cover surfaces, so that probably helped as well.

Roller method? Is that like using a mimi paint roller to apply the loctite?

Apply coat of Loctite 574 (was 638) with a velours roller on sealing surface.

Your AFRs are mostly in the right range, but there are a few spots that need tweaking. At idle, it’s holding around 14.7 when warm, but there’s a bit of hunting double-check for vacuum leaks or adjust idle fuel trims if it doesn’t settle. On throttle blips, it goes rich (dipping to 10.5), so pull some fuel from acceleration enrichment. When you let off, it leans out briefly (16-ish) adjust decel fuel cut or overrun settings to smooth that out. Nothing crazy, just needs small adjustments. Do some short test runs to dial it in.Drscottsmith wrote: Sat Jul 19, 2025 12:53 pm Ok - so moved the O2 sensor to the spot where four0four suggested and also picked up a new AEM AFR (I had the good old chineseum version from amazon).
I made two data logs and now need to start reworking my tuning to account for the revised AFR values. Please take a look and see what you would advise. This is a 951 fully rebuilt engine fully stock.
The first log is just a long idle while engine temp comes up. The second is a few sitting still revs to about 4K.
Thanks
