What do you think of Cloudflare?

I was wondering what that was, I keep getting signed out on my mobile device. My laptop just goes through that verification when I refresh the page or check active topics.

I guess I am already used to it and if it helps make it easier to manage the site I am all for it.

Are you referring to the Cloudflare verifications that pop up intermittently? If not, you shouldn't be getting signed out of Carpokes (the login) if you've checked the 'remember me' (or whatever it's called) box. My mobile device and my PC stay signed in even if I close the app on the phone or the webpage on the PC.

Interesting (and baffling). I wonder why the 180° diff behavior with my mobile device? I can close the app, restart the phone, and come back a day or more later and I'm still logged in. (98% of my Carpokes activity is via PC so I'm not accessing the site with my phone often. More head-scratching.)

As I say over and over and over and over - tech: can't live without it and can't stand to live with it.

My iPhone (iOS Safari browser), iPad, Mac all keep me logged in.
Some browsers can be set to time out in various ways.

I just made a change to the system that might help -- or might hurt -- let me know if it's any better. Also, make sure your phone is set to accept cookies (and not delete them after a certain amount of time).

I see I responded to the other thread, just wanted to leave an update here as well that things are working well and I have not been signed out of my mobile browser after page refresh anymore.

Thanks for the feedback. After you pointed that out, I realized the default settings were, ahem, 'less than optimal.' Glad it's working better now. Been working on Cloudflare settings too, to make it less conspicuous. Still some work to do there...
