Which side of the icv did you disconnect? One side pulls air from before the throttle body so it won't make a difference to the idle.

Has the wiring to the icv been messed with at all? Could someone have swapped the polarity?

I disconnected it by removing the connector, although I cant confirm it, I highly doubt it was ever messed with. I am pretty sure I was the first person to ever take the intake off.

Ahh ok, I thought you disconnected your hoses.

Something strange going on, you say your idle is ok but 1000rpm is too high, it should be 850-900rpm.

I did have a strange vacuum leak on mine in the heater valve, it would only happen the heater was on and the valve was trying to open.

@Bergerac yesterday I tested a few sensors. First my Idle control valve is getting a constant 12v signal from the dme not the waveform expected per the FSM. When I disconnect and connect it quickly it gets rid of my hiss so I am deducing that is the cause of my hissing noise. I also checked my 02 sensor and it seemed a bit all over the place and was dropping below the .1mv in the FSM as the spec so there is a good chance that the DME is not using the O2 sensor.

I am going to order a o2 sensor and I think a ait sensor and possibly a ignition control module and replace one at a time and see what my issue is
