This white piece on the inside seems to be the issue, alongside the wider part in the first photo.
Does the collar at the wheel slide off now that the e-clip is out? I thought I'd done this years ago to my early 944. Maybe I used a pressure lubricator.
Edit: just saw your pictures, looks like it does not come off. A clamp on lubricator might work from the wheel end.
