Tesla says it takes 3000 to 8000 gallons of water to put out a battery fire on its cars. Google says a big fire truck holds about 1,000 gallons... I think the world is still waiting for someone to figure out how to put out a lithium battery fire. I'd work on it myself, but for the good of humanity I spend all my time developing better ways to mount license plates.
