So I'm mulling ways to get the word out about carpokes online, especially since our ad won't run in Panorama this month... Any suggestions/ideas?

But seriously, I tell everyone to join the Boxster Register (I'm kinda the Boxster guy here) and Carpokes. But I think most Porsche owners are only interested in "official" Porsche stuff.

I believe plenty of folks want a site to just go to , talk Porsche, hang out with Machineheads and skip all the drama! I have been letting friends know this is the place to have fun, talk about Das Kar Uber Alles, get some technical help, and more. If you want to be a Negative Nancy go somewhere else , this is the Forum for fast fun and Porsche Family.

Very much appreciate your efforts to tell others about Carpokes! Thank you. I hear you on the 'official' stuff comment, but between Facebook, Rennlist, planet 9, Reddit, etc., etc., there is clearly some appetite for discussion about these cars...

Stormy is a great Carpokean who has been super supportive from the early days... I'm sure he was just being funny about the gunpoint thing and lamenting the challenges of growing our friendly Porsche forum!

No worries as Stormy used to be a Saleman for Wrigley's and that was just a typo, he meant to say at " Gumpoint! "

I sent this email to some neighborhood Porsche owners. I also attached link to CP registration.

I am a moderator for a 2+ year old online Porsche forum, Carpokes. When I joined two years ago there were only around 100 members. We are now 4600 strong and are trying to get to 5,000 members by the end of this year.

Carpokes has no paid ads, it’s solely a place for Porsche owners to post, read and discuss anything about their cars. Membership is free.
