The surround view is pretty cool.

Painting wheels is a $0 option on the T, for whatever reason. If they charged what they charged on the S, I'd keep them the default gray.

Added the Bose audio option and the extended range fuel tank.

Still on track for an early December build.

Looking good - exciting times coming your way!

Regarding your quote "learned my lesson from our Macan's leather wheel" that drove your decision to opt for the heated GT Sport steering wheel in race-tex vs leather, what exactly went wrong with you Macan's leather steering wheel? I've had both leather and race-tex in various Porsches and had no problems with either. (I like both.)

From what I've seen, gloss black is one of the more difficult finishes to maintain on wheels because the paint is soft and retains all the nicks and scratches as it would on a body panel. It's not a powder coated gloss black like it would be on aftermarket wheels. I suggest immediate ceramic coating and washing primarily with pressurized water with very little manual agitation.

I configured a T for my dad. Delivery estimated early February.

I would have gone without FAL personally but he has a relatively steep driveway and is paranoid.

I agree with resetsu as I have owned a ton of black wheels on race cars and they are a pain to keep clean. Some years back I switched to Anthracite Apex wheels and noticed how much less brake dust showed. I decided to do what Porsche calls " Deviated Color " on my Cayman GTS in Agate Grey Metallic. With the accents on your T I believe resetsu is spot on and here is a quick picture post of said wheel on my Cayman -- gotta believe that color would be stellar on your coming Christmas Present Porsche!

Thanks!

So, on our Macan, nothing faulty with the leather steering wheel, besides it just isn't the right size/texture for my hands after about 2 hours. My wife doesn't have a problem.
I drove a GT3 with the race-tex wheel and it was amazing, feel wise.

Thanks! I was thinking that there might have been a quality issue of some sort, so good to know that wasn't an issue.

Didn't make any other changes before the lock date.

Build got pushed back until mid-December. It was a November 30 start previously, which was a bit ahead of the initial estimate.

Got an email from my salesguy this past Friday that the European Delivery dates are full for February and March so that a current work in progress to get fixed somehow.
