Yeah, I'm convinced. This will make a great add-on for my 992. It's something Porsche should've supplied from the beginning.

I could not believe it either when I got my 991 several years ago, which is how these mounts got started. A lot of other mfg's cars now have nylon inserts in the bumpers, so at least they are not relying on the bumper plastic to hold screws like Porsche (which invariably rips up the plastic and strips out). But anytime you put a metal plate against a painted bumper, it IS going to scratch up the paint....

Tom, hello. I’m new to the forum and unable to send a PM. I just picked up a 2021 718 Spyder last week in GT Silver and would love to order a set of the license plate mounts if you are still making them. I’m in Northern NJ and the shop currently working on my PPF up in Connecticut said some of his customers mentioned your solution in the past and directed me this way. I pick the car up on Sat 3 Dec. They said they would place them on for me if I could source them. It would be greatly appreciated if I could order them. I’m not sure how best to contact you. Tom, received the Carpokes license plate mounts today. Very nice! As others have said, this is what the car should have come with by the manufacturer. I like the way the grooves in the mounts line up with the raised bead on the car. Excellent design and quality! Thank you!

Got mine in the mail and put them on today as well. They're pretty solid and seem like the plate isn't going anywhere.
