I've checked Digikey and Mouser and some of the other big electronics houses, and no one seems to have a real selection of metric hook-up wire. Digikey has a few metric-sized wires in limited colors but virtually nothing in comparison to its AWG selection. I found an article from 2010 that said US auto makers were adopting ISO 6722 -- a metric standard -- but it seems like the wire-selling world has all but abandoned metric wire in the meantime. Or I'm just googling wrong?
I wouldn’t focus on the metric standard, rather get AWG in the next closest size up from the respective metric gauge, then reduce insulation diameter to match. DigiKey has a slew of insulation thicknesses as well

waytekwire is where I've picked up OEM equivalent wire for BMW and Porsche.

Thanks for the suggestions.
My fix was easier that I thought - went with Sherco to deal with the hackery in my drivers side mirror. Kept it as a single color since I only needed about a 1 foot extension of 6 Wires to go with new round connectors.

Prowire USA. They have a ton of various wire colors, types and specs. I have used them a lot.
