Trina going through Carpokes topics and posts. She's my ghost writer so if there's ever anything objectionable under my user name it's her, not me!

Rusty & Trina. Not rescues although Rusty was in need of a home at a very young age. Both are females. (I know, Rusty is not really a girl name but it fit her.) All my dogs have been females going back to my first dog, a Mostly Collie when I was around five years old that we got as a puppy for a couple of dollars as I was later told. (That was a long time ago!) She didn't care for anyone but me.
Have had Rotties for the past 40+ years, all raised from puppyhood. Never been a day during that time when I didn't have at least one, usually two at a time and sometimes three.

I noticed one of them doesn’t have her tail docked. That must be dangerous for furniture, glassware, small children and anything else within reach of a healthy, muscular wag. Great dogs.

They certainly are!
For over 40-years I've not been without at least one Rottie. As I mentioned earlier on this thread, we've always had at least one, usually two at a time (as is the case now) and sometimes three. All have been females.
They are incredible companions and so very loyal. I miss each of them terribly when they're no longer with us but I always retain the wonderful memories. I wish their lives weren't so short.

The tails! I go back and forth with the tails - some yes and others docked. Some Rotties don't have the best looking tails but Trina's is gorgeous and she has a very gentle but fairly constant wag, especially if you're talking to her. Her fur is the softest and thickest of any Rottweiler I've had and that definitely includes her tail. She's a sweet doggie.
Never any issues with knocking things off but she does sometimes whack Rusty (my other Rottie) in the face. It's pretty humorous.

What a fantastic picture!! When a dog comes on TV, Starsky always perks up and watches. Now I need to figure out how to get him interested in Carpokes.

We're learning the 992 TTS now, starting with the driver's door controls. Trina's picked it up pretty well - she's showing interest anyway, so that's a start.
Kids these days ...

I think that with the high-tech cars these days, my dogs understand them better than I do. I'm still looking for the points and condenser in my 997.... any day now...

So true!
I know where the key/key fob goes...in the cupholder.
Ok, not the GT4 - that car still has the fob slot. (Fob slot? That almost sounds obscene.)

So I have several cameras and alarms, etc. at HQ -- and the system caught this cat burglar red-handed! I was letting a friend keep his car at the house yesterday. As best I know, with cameras 24/7, this guy has never once stepped foot in the garage, but park a GT2RS in there for a couple hours and here he is....
