Larry, let's reach out to the vendor, maybe they will develop a kit for the GTS and GT4.

That would be great. I'll probably need/want one some day. I'm surprised there's not one for the GTS & GT4, especially considering they are the 718 models most likely to be seeing track use. Do those cars have any active aero or other mechanisms that might get in the way? Looks like this lip is a factory 991 part that they retrofit to the 718, so maybe the GTS/4 front bumper cap just doesn't line up with the lips they use...blueline wrote: Sun Jan 01, 2023 12:35 pmThat would be great. No active aero but I think you are correct regarding your other thought. There are different fixed aero bits up front along with suspension and under-car differences, at least with the GT4.Tom wrote: Sun Jan 01, 2023 12:42 pmDo those cars have any active aero or other mechanisms that might get in the way? A response from 718 Forum:
“I have that fitted, you will have less clearance to that spoiler, you will scrape more often as it sticks out further. I am actually thinking of taking it off for that reason, though it does look good.”

Hey Larry, which 718 forum thread did you see this on? I've searched some but haven't found it yet.

Actually I was asking for the specific thread, but once I got to my PC I found it, thanks. (Amazing how much easier internet things are for me on my PC than my tablet, or, heaven forbid, my phone).
Meanwhile, I emailed Ecm2design yesterday about the possibility of an adapter/spoiler for the GTS/GT4 cars, and was surprised to get an answer right away. Sadly, they aren't currently looking at that option. Here's their complete answer:
"Unfortunately our kit will not fit the Cayman GTS or Sport Design front bumper.
We did try several alternate OEM Porsche Spoiler options/configurations, but the modified design and dimensions of the GTS bumper make it impossible to achieve a good mechanical and aesthetic fitment.
We do however continue to look for options whenever Porsche releases new spoilers, so please feel free to check back with us in future."
So no joy here, but kudos to them for a prompt response, it speaks well of the integrity of the company. We could hope that in the future they see a need and come out with a suitable option for our cars.

Thanks for following up with them. It’s rare these days to get a prompt response. Sorry for the confusion regarding the thread.
