I always laugh when Porsche offers lightweight glass that saves 8 pounds for $10k. That's like one or two missed meals for me...

I sure didn't order my new 2023 Porsche 911 Turbo with the Lightweight Package. I declined the entire package.
I'd say the option may be more valuable one day in the future. No one knows.

The funny thing is that Porsche also offers thicker ‘privacy’ glass on the Cayenne for and extra charge!

Yes, I saw that post which made me delete the LW windshield.
I got the serial number on my car with it's build pictures.
---
I have no deposit or contract. The dealer may not know the value of my car. I have saved the price of the Turbo just in case we have a different opinion on trade-in value price,
Tom, you saw our Group. I am to the tall guy on the right side with the yellow shirt. This picture was taken before we all went inside,

Just saying here as the first Carpokes meeting was darn good. We did well. We all made friends. We also have plans for meeting #2.

@chris white haha, I have done that a couple of times, not the most fun job.
I can only imagine that Porsche in the 1980s had a glut of seam-sealer at the factory, they use so much of it and everywhere!
