I must be having a bad morning, but I can't figure out how to download that SVG as a file. Everything I click just displays the image in my browser.... ?

Edit: I think I got it. You have to open it in the media viewer and then find the little download arrow thingie....

I think I prefer the version with the logo inset to the one with it proud of the surface

So, since my last post, I've verified that a 69mm center cap fits very snuggly in the Fikse wheels. By "verified" I mean I took a Phone Dial center cap I had on hand and wrapped tape around it until it fit snuggly and then measured that at 69mm :). Who says I'm not an engineer :?

I also looked into the O-Rings that Fikse uses, I'm still not certain why they use them but I suppose it can only make the fit snugger. They sell them in two sizes (again, no idea why) but they are ID 2.250" and ID 2.650" respectively, both with a cross-section of 0.070". Based on some additional interneting, I've found that these are -035 and -038 o-rings in whatever o-ring standard of measurement there is. Both of these seem to be available here for less than half a dollar each (though they do require a minimum purchase of 10)

So, with that in mind, I think it's probably best to add a groove for an 0.070" o-ring on the bit that inserts into the wheel. Fikse seems to think it's necessary and who am I to second guess them? I imagine it will all make sense once I have it in hand, I'm just struggling to imagine what it's for.

The o-rings are probably used to create a tight fit without needing super tight tolerances to get a good press fit. The Porsche center caps have some kind of spring metal for the same reason I'm sure. I'll do a little sketch tomorrow and ask you to call out a few important dimensions I fudged on my mocked up version....

Here's a drawing with the dimensions I'll need...

For the o-ring grove, I assume it should be a circular groove, so drew it that way. If instead you need it to be a straight-sided groove (like you'd have for a circlip for example), let me know that too. :) Edit: I forgot to ask if the location of the groove is important -- on the C wall, how high up do you want the groove?

It would also be a lot stronger if it was solid in this shape, so I'd rather do that if possible. Will that work, or do you need clearance behind it like the second drawing below?
