@michaelmount123 : would you still consult on them? I still need to talk to you about the head on my S2 (that's waiting on other, higher priority, projects at the moment) but this is the path I would like to take with that car.
Alternatively (or maybe in addition to), do you think that the parts you designed could be made to work on a 928 S4 engine?

I'm not sure what you mean by "would I consult on them." What is it that you are you trying to accomplish? Building them one at a time would be quite expensive.
I can't imagine they'd work on a 928 since the heads intake ports face each other and there wouldn't be room for these intakes and TB's. Am I missing something?

@michaelmount123 : Well, I was thinking a couple of possibilities: consult = "hire" you to use your design to maybe get what's needed made out here on the west coast, if you don't have any of the original hardware still around. Alternatively, maybe there's some other thing we could work out that wouldn't completely mooch off your previous hard work.
For the 928, I was hoping that the offset in the cylinders might allow for some of the trumpets to sort of nest, but I don't really have a good sense of that, obviously. Maybe they'd still have to connect to a plenum of some sort. I just love the idea of putting ITBs on my cars.

I missed earlier that you were actually using AT Power with the 3D print intake design you sent me. It was on my Facebook account where they popped up as a site that Facebook thought I might be interested in. Too funny.
Your design is fantastic and I never understood why more people didn’t go that way.

If anyone is seriously interested in this setup, let me know. There could be a path forward, but PLEASE be serious and have funds available. I'm not trying to sell these, only trying to make them available with the help of Gruhsy. A lot of work went into them, but all my costs were sunk long ago.

If I can help on the 3D printing front, let me know. I do both traditional squirted-plastic printing and resin printing. Not sure if you ever planned to run a car with 3D printed parts, but there are some materials these days that might just hold up -- and would certainly hold up long enough for proof of concept testing.

Thanks for the kind offer, Tom. I had those 3D printed manifolds made to ensure fit, as there was no 3D material at the time suitable for the application. I confirmed fit was good, so went ahead and had a few manifolds CNC machined from billet aluminum. Although the ports were good with the 3D pieces, somehow the ports were chit with the machined pieces. I imagine which ever material/process is used, a proper scan of my 3D prototypes would be needed. This is where I think Jason (Gruhsy) is headed with resources he has access to.
BTW, I also have a manifold made with the Weber DCO base that is suitable for either carbs or TB's with the Weber base. I've used them for both.

Yeah, I've been 3D-printing for over a decade now, starting with a printer-kit I had to hand-assemble and wire. All I can say is that printing has come a very long way in a short amount of time -- both in terms of both the hardware and the material selections. If you browse through the 3D-printer file section on Carpokes, you'll get a good sense of what I've been up to.
If your part was originally 3D printed, then the CAD or print file (STL) must have existed at one point, which might save you the trouble of getting it to scan just right...

Yes, I know, I surely know. The fellow I contracted to do both the 3D and the machining won't give them up. I paid for them, but saw no need (at the time) to ensure the files were mine. Oh well.
