My tanks converter over for water/meth injection so can’t use it for this, I’m going to put a small separate tank with a level sensor for the intercooler sprayerTom wrote: Tue Jul 12, 2022 10:01 am If you have the headlight washers, you could tap into that circuit on the stalk, to preserve the windshield washer function... Can't imagine there are many people who really use/need headlight washers on these car, but windshield washers do come in handy.![]()

I use my reservoir for water/meth injection too. Call me crazy, but the water/meth (51/49) mixture seems to work just dandy on the windshield too.
I have to figure out a way to use the headlight washer with the headlights down, that would be idealTom wrote: Tue Jul 12, 2022 10:34 amDGUN951 wrote: Tue Jul 12, 2022 10:20 amMy tanks converter over for water/meth injection so can’t use it for this, I’m going to put a small separate tank with a level sensor for the intercooler sprayerTom wrote: Tue Jul 12, 2022 10:01 am If you have the headlight washers, you could tap into that circuit on the stalk, to preserve the windshield washer function... Alright got it figured out. Unplug the headlight washer pump use plug for your new intercooler sprayer. Headlight washer pump only works with the headlights up. Not gonna work for our intercooler mister without fixing that. So remove relay G15, G15 relay has a timer circuit built into it, only allowing the pump to run for a couple seconds, and it also need to see the headlight up signal. We need to fix this. Replaced with aftermarket relay and removed one terminal on the relay. Boom we have what we need to operate properly, now it will work with the headlight stock like the headlight washers do, and the headlights can stay down during operation.

So, just cut the middle blade off a generic relay and install that instead of the original G15 relay? And then the headlight washer switch on the stalk will activate the headlight washer circuit via the stalk even with the headlights off? If I have that right, what generic relay did you use? Anything else not work as a result?
Nice hack by the way -- simple and clean!
