Let me keep playing with the model to get it just right. I'd be up for printing the shells, but probably best to let people paint their own, so folks can decide on their own how close a match they want, etc. In the meantime, can you post some pictures of your bezel? I can't quite tell from the pictures I've seen if the 718 bezel is the same as my 992TTS bezel.
Sure - pic below - I actually plastidipped mine. They were kind of a pain to remove.
There's a thread on the 718forum as well. https://www.718forum.com/threads/changi ... ost-233349

Looks great. How thick is the plastidip coating? Any trouble snapping the bezel back on?
Tom, I like the idea of providing the bezels unpainted. I would most likely use OEM Chaulk Paint to match the color of my deviated stitching and seatbelts.

I'm not at all sure the 718 bezel is the same as my 992TTS after seeing those pictures. The 718 looks like it has a rounded front. In comparison, see the close-up of mine below, where I was working to fine-tune the profile of the shell. If they are indeed different, I will need a local 718 volunteer to help me get the 718 model just right....
Thanks - turned out pretty well - not perfect up close, but I'm happy with it.
I did 3 or 4 coats of the plastidip, so it's fairly thick, but it snapped in easily. I didn't spray the tabs

I've been working on the model for the 992 Turbo S, which is presumably the same for all 992 cars. I think I have that just right now (see next post), so will turn my attention to finding a local 718 I can use to model-up and test fit a bezel for it. Stay tuned!

I played with the model to make it look less bulky/thick when installed, and to make it grip the gauge tighter. It grabs the gauge tightly now, and looks good to me. Opinions/suggestion welcome though! I also got out a can of red high-gloss Rustoleum just to see what that might look like. I have to say I kind of like it. Only a diehard would know it isn't a factory option.
Here is the raw shell as printed by the Form 3. It's printed at 1/20th of a mm per layer, so looks like a molded part to the naked eye.
Color inspiration. Not an exact match, but close enough for a non-adjacent part....
I'm kind of feeling it....
Looks like they shipped it this way.
