The tuner on my 2017 Cayenne has gone screwy. The presets disappear and yet the stations are still saved to the locations. I can hold down the location of each one and it eventually comes back only to go away again in aa mile or so. If a reset will fix it should I remove the battery cable for a few minutes, or is something else needed?

Restart PCM.
Example: Hold volume button down for 20 seconds reboots it, for PCM 4.

Just curious -- is this on SiriusXM? I heard there was some glitch that affected Porsches recently, but never experienced it on my 992. However, yesterday in my 944 with Porsche's "classic" retro radio, the SiriusXM was all whacked out and acting with a mind of its own... Lost my presets and after struggling to get it to my station, it would start climbing station numbers every 2 seconds no matter what I did.

Yes, XM radio, about all I listen to. Might be that was the problem, anyone else having issues? I'll try the reset tomorrow if it's still wonky.

Sirius XM is aware of the problem. It happened during a recent update. All of my presets lost their individual icons. Sirius said that they are working on it and to just leave Sirius radio on as much as possible and all the station icons will eventually return. I’ve been driving quite a bit, with the radio on, and all the icons have returned with the exception of my local weather channel. A reset nor having Sirius send a signal to your radio will not do anything for this problem.

Weird that my GMC truck never had an issue. At first, the 944 radio would only give me the promotional channels, but I pushed something that took me into the 100's, and was able to chance one channel at a time to get to my station, but it wouldn't stay on that station and instead would keep move up a station every 3 or 4 seconds. Hopefully that was all just a byproduct of the SiriusXM glitch, but I guess time will tell....Larry C wrote: Thu Jul 21, 2022 7:55 am Sirius XM is aware of the problem. All my SiriusXM presets lost their individual station graphics last week. I tried a radio reset via SiriusXM, but no change. Then, during a drive of about 100 miles, all the station icons slowly came back…except one. Classic Rewind, Ch. 25 still shows the generic SiriusXM logo artwork.
My wife’s Audi Q3 never lost any station logos. Oddly specific glitch don’t you think?

Odd indeed. I’ve been receiving daily calls from SXM. Each day they read from the same script, “The engineers have identified the problem. Please keep your SXM radio on as long as possible and all of the channel icons will slowly return.”Leader wrote: Thu Jul 21, 2022 8:54 am All my SiriusXM presets lost their individual station graphics last week. I drove my Cayenne today and everything was restored as before. Thanks for the tip, Tom.
